Andoni Luis Aduriz (San Sebastian, 1971)
He studied at the Catering School of San Sebastian and begun his activity as a chef at an early age. After learning from the important figures of Basque cuisine, he formed part of the El Bulli team between 1993 and 1994.
In 1998 he began working on his own and opened Mugaritz, the restaurant he has run since then. Mugaritz has two Michelin stars and since 2006 has been among the ten best restaurants in the world according to Restaurant Magazine.
