Bilbao, 28 December 1981.
She lives between AZTI-Tecnalia and Mugaritz to turn the ideas of the guys from R&D into reality. She spends her days in a lab testing prototypes and cooking utensils. "Trial and error" is her mantra.
Always sweet and smiling, when she comes to Mugaritz to show us her latest tests, the party begins in the kitchen. She feels like part of the family here, but being surrounded by chemists and biologists at AZTI-Tecnalia is a stimulant for Bego and an opportunity to learn each day.
Like a true girl from Biscay, she loves kalimotxo, but then she couldn't have it all, could she.
